French Papier Mache Tea box, 1850s

Decorated with mother-of-pearl and hand-painted on the lid and front and inside corners. Missing are 3 small alcoves on the back and a small alcove on the front of the lid. Slight wear on the painting. Authentic condition, authentic key. Ivory knob on the inner lid.
